A few words from satisfied clients
Invaluable and a whole lot of FUN!
My name is Tina Gibson and I am a local Bay Area poet and author. Back in 2010, I was a young writer with a lot of poems and short stories; but I didn't know what the heck to do with them. So I decided to join Len's San Mateo meetup group, and after attending several meetings, he graciously agreed to be my Editing/Publishing Coach. His assistance in developmental and line editing my first book, One Page At A Time, and his guidance in designing the book's layout and cover was invaluable and a whole lot of FUN! So much so, that we continued our collaboration on my soon-to-be released children’s book, Misfit Island, a full-length modern epic poem. Len offers a lifetime of writing, editing and design skills that will greatly benefit anybody looking to write, edit and/or publish their work. --- Tina G. Motivating, inspiring ... a pleasure to work with Accomplished and transcendent, as my writing coach, Len Hodgeman’s tremendous insights took my writing to the next level. Len was a godsend – motivating, inspiring and a pleasure to work with. During my project, he knew exactly when to push, pull, mold, kick me in the pants or simply offer a new perspective. I cannot recommend Len highly enough to anyone who is committed to finishing that writing project, but needs an experienced helping hand. --- Christopher T. |
A Godsend. Flexible and openminded
I have found that the things we need most seem to fall right into our lap. That was the case with my introduction to Len. I had completed my first draft of Amazing Grace when a respected colleague told me about an editor she was working with for her book. I needed someone to review and edit my book so I contacted him. He has been a Godsend. Flexible and open minded, he knew exactly what to do to get the job done and kept in close communication. Most of all he gave the book "my voice." I cannot tell you how many times readers have come to me and told me how much they loved Amazing Grace as it was like having a conversation with me, that they could envision me speaking the words. That was key. Thanks Len, for giving my book a voice and for being my light in the darkness. --- Linda C. |
